ICANN Has Authorized A Bulk Transfer of DNGLOBE Domains to PAKNIC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ICANN Has Authorized A Bulk Transfer of DNGLOBE Domains to PAKNIC

March 1, 2010 - On February 5, 2010 ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) issued a letter of termination (http://icann.org/correspondence/pritz-to-smirnoff-05feb10-en.pdf) of its accreditation agreement with registrar DNGLOBE LLC effective 22 February, 2010 for failure to comply with the requirements of the Registrar Accreditation Agreement. In the interest of protecting domain name registrants, ICANN initiated a process to identify a most qualified and accredited registrar to take over management of the domain names formerly managed by DNGLOBE LLC by soliciting bids from all accredited registrars around the world. The participated registrars were evaluated by ICANN on a point-based performance criteria. As a result, ICANN announced PakNIC Private Limited (www.paknic.com) as the most-qualified domain registrar for this bulk domain transfer (http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-01mar10-en.htm).

We are pleased to announce that transition of all domain names formerly managed by DNGLOBE LLC to PakNIC Private Limited has been completed successfully. We sincerely welcome all former DNGLOBE domain registrants/customers and assure our best services. PakNIC has launched dedicated hot-lines for customer service contacts including USA toll-free phone number, chat service and a designated landing web page (http://www.paknic.com/dnglobe/) listing all the relevant information and faqs at one place.  All domain registrants have also been sent required information separately along with the credentials they need to login their accounts and domains management system.

All PakNIC staff members and whole team sincerely thank ICANN, relevant top-level registries especially Verisign Inc., all other parties/officials who were involved in making the decision and the internet community, at large, for their trust and giving us such honorable opportunity.
