In July, 2011, Neustar (registry for .BIZ domain names) announced that as of February 1, 2012, the registry fee for .biz domain names will increase by $0.55. You can read the notice to ICANN at http://www.icann.org/en/correspondence/neuman-to-beckstrom-29jul11-en.pdf . As a result of this increase in registry cost, Paknic will be raising the total price of .BIZ domain name per year by $0.55 with effect from February 1, 2012.
Please note, Paknic is NOT increasing any portion of registrar cost or managemenmt fee to our resellers and, hence, while the portion payable directly to Neustar (Registry) has increased, it's important to note that we haven't raised the cost payable to Paknic.
If you are planning to renew/register domain(s), we’d recommend doing it before the price increase kicks in to save some money.
